Dear Parents and Carers With the end of term feeling very close I am writing to you to explain some changes for September. Firstly, Mrs Kington, who has worked at the school for over 20 years, has decided that the time is right for her to step down and she will be leaving school at the end of term. I know that many of you have known Mrs Kington for some time and I am sure you will be wishing her well for the future. I have been working closely with Mrs Hughes (who will be Headteacher from September) and I am now in a position to inform you of the classes for September. Mr Rhys will take class 4 which will be a mixed class of children in years 3 and 4. Ms Kidd will take class 3 which will be a mixed class of children in years 2 and 3. Mrs Mather and Mrs Standing will be working with the children in Reception and year 1. Mrs Standing will work each morning and the children will be divided into 2 classes with a mixture of year 1 and reception children in each class. Mrs Mather and Mrs Standing will work closely together to ensure that the children in each class are being given similar experiences. In the afternoon Mrs Mather and a full time Teaching Assistant will have all the children as one group. This will be a group of 30 children. Classes 3 and 4 Bell Boating activities 2010
As part of the outdoor and adventurous activities element of PE Classes 3 and 4 go Bell-boating at Fladbury Canoe Club. The coaching will be lead by Mr David Train a qualified BCU coach and helm, assisted by Mr Rhys.
We will have the opportunity to experience both field games and Bellboating, and we will combine the two activities during the Wednesday afternoons.
The sessions commence 5 May, and continue until the end of term.

Dear Parents
Year 3 and Year 4 Swimming Summer 2010
Swimming for the Summer Term 2010 is at the new Evesham Leisure Centre and we have been fortunate to reserve our school 5 sessions on Friday mornings. The cost for this term will be £10.00 for five sessions commencing 11 June, followed by 18,25 June, 2 & 9 July 2010. This will include tuition from two swimming teachers, (kindly sponsored by the PTA fundraising, allowing us to keep the cost down) and transport via coach.
